Plateau Tourism Month
December is the state's declared tourism month, built around a family funfair in Jos.
Date not announced
No date has been announced. Plateau Tourism Month usually falls in December, and that window is all we are willing to publish. Nzem Berom is nominally an April festival and the 2025 edition ran on 2 May, so do not book flights against a window.
The governor has declared December as Plateau's tourism month, with activity running across the whole month rather than a single weekend.
The centrepiece has been a ten-day family funfair in Jos over the Christmas period, with the 2025 edition targeting twenty thousand visitors and running all-day programming with live music at night.
This is the state's deliberate play for Christmas holiday traffic. If you are coming from Lagos or Abuja, this is the window with the most going on.
