What we can tell you
Jos runs cold at night by Nigerian standards — 13 °C is normal in Harmattan. A room with no heating and a broken window is a different proposition here than in Lagos. Ask.
Stay in Jos itself if your days are in the city. If you are going to Pankshin, Mangu or Langtang, those are long drives and an overnight closer in is worth more than a better room in Jos.
Anything that puts you back on the road after dark is the wrong choice, whatever it saves on the room. Read the plan page.
