Solomon Lar Amusement Park
Tall trees and quiet in the middle of the city. The default Jos picnic, and a standing film location.
The park sits in the heart of the capital and is one of the calmer places in Jos North. The mature trees do most of the work — people come to sit, picnic and photograph.
It is a regular location for film and photo shoots, wedding parties included.
The park is named in ongoing public–private arrangements to revive state tourism assets, so facilities may be in flux.
